Can I bring my dog to the museum?

If your dog is small enough for you to carry it throughout the museum, you are welcome to bring it along. Larger dogs are not allowed.

Guide dogs and service dogs are always welcome.

Do I need to book my tickets before a visit?

We do not require anyone to make a booking, but we do appreciate it if school classes and larger groups inform us before their visit.

The museum is located in a building with many different levels and stairs. We have an elevator operated by museum staff that can assist you.

While it’s not always easy, we usually manage to provide access.

Is there a secure cloakroom?

No, unfortunately, we do not have a secure cloakroom.

Can I eat my own food in the museum?

If you purchase your drinks from us, you are more than welcome to enjoy your own food at the tables in our central hall.

Where can I park?

We typically recommend the Museum Square, which is a 5-minute walk from our address.
